"PASSION PROPELS PERFORMANCE!"℠

Align Education, LLC, is an educational services firm based in Alexandria, Virginia. Since 2000, the company has developed educational programs of schools, universities, and nonprofit agencies serving youth from secondary to postsecondary education. To improve the performance of educational programs, Align Education provides professional development, program evaluation, and technical assistance services. The company also is in the process of acquiring 8(a) certification as a minority-owned business with the federal government in order to expand services.

The mission of "Align Ed" is to help educators create learning environments that address the emotional as well as intellectual needs of young people. As examples, although students in the slide show above are involved in what may appear to be mere leisure activities, they actually are highly engaged in academic assignments, using technology and other resources. These assignments use what youngsters are passionate about to propel their performance academically. Ultimately, then, the company helps agencies to align education, thereby producing youth who are prepared as well as empowered for the 21st century!
